Terms
Last updated 14 August 2026
These terms cover your use of Social Image Maker and the Pro licence. The service is operated by To sider ApS, CVR 42753491, Armeniensvej 27, 2300 København S, Denmark. Questions go to pa@tosider.dk.
What the service is
Social Image Maker is a browser-based editor that places a screenshot into a 3D device mockup and exports it as an image or a video. It runs entirely in your browser: the rendering, the encoding and the export all happen on your own machine.
Because of that, the editor keeps working while you are offline, and we never receive the images you work with.
The free plan
Anyone may use the editor without paying. Free exports are limited to 720p-class resolution and 30 fps for video, and carry a small socialimagemaker.io wordmark. Bringing images in is never limited.
The Pro licence
A one-time payment grants you a personal, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Pro features: exports up to 4K, video up to 4K at 60 fps, and exports without the wordmark.
It is a licence to use the software, not a transfer of ownership. You may use it on as many of your own devices as you like. You may not resell it, share it, or pass your licence to someone else.
There is no subscription and nothing renews. We may change what Pro includes for future purchases, but we will not remove a feature you have already paid for.
Who you buy from
Purchases are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Stripe is the seller for the transaction: they take the payment, calculate and remit any VAT or sales tax, and issue your receipt. Stripe's terms apply to the payment itself; these terms apply to the software and the licence.
Your content
Whatever you load into the editor stays yours, and stays on your device. Your screenshots, projects and exports are stored in your browser and are never transmitted to us. We claim no rights over anything you make.
You are responsible for having the right to use the images you put into the tool.
Availability and changes
The site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, and we may change or discontinue features. Because your work is stored in your own browser, we cannot recover it for you — export anything you want to keep.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service or the licence is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under Danish or EU law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes fall to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
